  • Call at least 11 Brahmins in your house serve them and feed them.

  • Feed crows, cows, and dogs.
  • Light a mustard oil lamp in the south direction at night.

Whatever food you eat or drink water on Amavasya day, make sure to add Tulsi leaves to it. On Amavasya day, do not eat any food item in which garlic, onion, or any tamasic thing has been added nor should oil be used in it.
